Austin 3:16
Bottom Line
This page is dedicated to the Best Wrestler In The World Today - None other than the TOUGHEST S.O.B. IN THE WORLD: STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN Heres the history of Stone cold in the WWF: At the beginning of 1996, Ted Dibiase the Million Dollar Man said he would be bringing in a new million dollar champion. The man he brought in was known as the Ringmaster (later known as Stone Cold Steve Austin). Austin's PPV debut was at the 1996 Royal Rumble. He wrestle under the name of the Ringmaster for a while but was soon changed to Stone Cold Steve Austin. In May of 1996, Ted Dibiase said that if Steve lost a Carriibean Strap match to Savio Vega then he would leave the WWF. Austin did lose that match and Ted Dibiase hasnt been seen since in the WWF. In my opinion, that was one of the best things that has ever happened to Austin. The next month in June Austin was in the King Of The Ring Tournament. He was able to beat Bob Holly, Savio Vega, Marc Mero, and Jake the Snake to win the tournament. During the ceremony Austin 3:16 was born, and so was the saying Austin 3:16 means I just whipped your @$$! After the King of the Ring Austin was just getting better and better. He then started challenging Bret Hart to return to the WWF. Thats exactly what happened. Bret returned to meet Austin at Survivor Series. Many people were calling it the MATCH OF THE DECADE!! Bret Hart was able to defeat Stone Cold Austin and Brets feud was far from over in the 1997 Royal Rumble Austin was thrown over the top rope by Bret but the refs didnt see it. Therefore Austin came back in and threw everyone in the ring out and therefore controversially winning the Royal Rumble. Because it was controversial they had a final four match in February. Some how Austin was eliminated first. Then came Wrestlemania. Bret-Austin in a submission match. It was an awesome match Austin all bloody and in the sharpshooter but he passed out before he gave up and Bret won because Austin could no longer continue. At April, Austin met Bret again but the new formed hart Foundation interfered. In may Austin got his first TV World Title Shot against the Undertaker. He hit the Stone Cold Stunner and looked like he had it won until Brian Pillman rang the bell. Therefore the match was stopped for a few secs, giving the Undertaker time to get up hit the tombstone and win. A few weeks later on Raw Us War Austin teamed with a reluctant partner Shawn Michaels for the tag belts against Bulldog and Owen Hart. Surprisingly Austin took the gold with Shawn he had finally gotten WWF gold. At the 1997, King of The ring. Austin wrestled his tag-team champion partner to a draw! The night after Michaels decided to leave the WWF. Therefore a tournament was formed and the winners would meet Austin and a partner of his choice for the belts. Bulldog and Owen won the match and met the weird team of Austin and Dud Love. Austin and Love were able to capture the Gold! This Sunday Austin will meet Owen hart for the Intercontinental title and if Austin loses he will kiss Owens @$$! Update: Austin didnt kiss Owens @$$!!!
